Government
Programs
If your loved one qualifies, there are several government programs that can cover or subsidize the cost of respite care.
1
FSCD (Family Support for Children with Disabilities)
We provide respite care for children under 18 with developmental disabilities. Services can be billed directly or reimburse to families with an active FSCD agreement. Our team is here to assist you in applying for FSCD. Talk to us to schedule a free consultation regarding your child’s FSCD eligibility and the application process.
2
PDD (Persons with Developmental Disabilities)
The PDD program provides funding for staffing supports for adults with developmental disabilities to be safe at home and in the community.
Once approved, PDD funding can cover the cost of in-home respite (1040 funding), pay for the individual to access the community (3000 funding) and to receive out-of-home respite care to give caregivers a break (1050 funding).
Individuals must be eligible for PDD funding. Click here to see if you are eligible.
Services can be billed to PDD directly so there is no out of pocket cost to the family. Some families who have a Family Managed Services (FMS) agreement may pay and get reimbursed directly by the PDD program.
If you do not already have an FMS agreement, we can support you to apply to PDD
